Works fine Dec 21, 2008
By Jonathan M. Davis Got this for a Dell Mini 9 to install XP after buying my Dell with Ubuntu. This item works fine. It sometimes seems to have difficulty closing as the face plate is not properly aligned with the slot--perhaps the tray, on which the faceplate is attached, is just not very sturdy--but I haven't had any other problems with it yet as it does read my data DVDs without my laptop complaining.
