This Mini Netbook Laptop is a cheap toy! Jul 09, 2010
By David L. Wegman I bought one of these, got it in the mail yesterday, and didn't expect much for the low price that I paid, but at least I had hoped it would power up and last longer than 3 hours. I got it turned on, got it to connect to my home network for about 20 minutes, got disconnect and could not get it to reconnect to my home networking system even after sitting right in front of the router. The touch pad caused the cursor to erratically jump all over the display so had to connect a mouse to one of the USB ports. About 3 hours into trying everything to connect to my network I heard a faint "pop", the display went blank, I could smell that electrical overheating odor, and the back of the display lid began to feel warm. I depowered it and emailed the seller. Even though I paid for an additional 1 year warranty I now find out that the warranty is with a 3rd party, not with the company that I purchased it from. If I return it for a refund (at this time I have not received a return authorization) I will be charged a 25% "restocking fee" plus pay the return postage. I'll just have to take my losses but at least have learned a lesson... buy a name brand from a reputable company. You get what you pay for.

Buyer Beware Jul 28, 2010
By R. Shelley I bought this from another website and have had nothing but problems with it. 1st the wireless does not pick up. I managed to get a wireless connection by sitting next to the router and even that kept dropping out. This is the slowest netbook I have ever seen, even loading the most basic websites takes forever. The netbook runs on windows CE which is not upgradable there are no programs that you can download onto it so you are stuck with what you get.
After having this for a month and only using it for a week the keyboard gave out, so now I'm returning it for a refund. I found out that there is no warranty on it, I'm not sure if the one being sold on this website comes with one so you better ask. I have had the biggest nightmare getting my money back. Pay the extra 100 or so dollars and get something much much better

Okay for what it is Jun 13, 2010

I didn't expect much for $100 and I was not disappointed. I finally got it connected to the internet and surfed for a few hours. Typing anything more than a few sentences is not possible for adult hands and sites with more than text takes time--as mentioned by the seller. However, my biggest issue is with security. I can't find a site to scan the netback and I am leery of entering passwords into a machine that might be shipped with malware. This is not a major supplier and I don't want to trust someone with my information. Until I scan the machine I will only use it for surfing or Facebook. Too bad.
Also, I can't find any WinCe programs so whatever is on the machine is what you have. An eBook reader, updated movie player, and a choice of browser would be at the top of my wish list.
When I couldn't get onto the internet the supplier was responsive to my email, but the suggested solution did not work.
I have spent much more money on a poor dinner so I don't feel like I am out much money, but it would've been nice to toss this netback into my briefcase and use it securely for personal email as well as Facebook and surfing.

Don't get it! Oct 11, 2010
By Zann Jensen Cute as a button & connected quickly in WIFI hot spots-never expected speed so was not unhappy with that; keyboard & screen big enough for travel use. BUT abt 30 days after purchase I had the snap, drop dead phenomenon. This happened mid trip to France & we were out of luck for the function it should have performed. Had my computer guru look at it when we got home; his verdict: not really fixable. The vendor (not Amazon related) gave us no joy. Bottom line: don't waste your money.
