Nice little machine Mar 31, 2011
By William J. Sutton I like this netbook because of the slightly larger screen and keyboard. I used it mainly for word processing and web browsing and it worked well. Fit and finish were excellent, well made, quality product. I gave it as a gift after using it briefly and was proud to do so.

I make a living working on a laptop at an Internet business and have been happily using an Acer 5315-2153 laptop for 3 years and very happy with it, except that it weighs about 6 lbs. So when I am on the road I needed a machine that was lighter but still allowed me to get real work done rather than just check emails. In other words a small netbook or iPad wouldn't work for me. And BTW, we also like to keep our costs low around here so we don't believe in spending much on hardware. I bought this computer and have to say that I am so happy with it. I also tested it during a recent trip to California and everything is great. It's keyboard is big enough for me to write articles and respond to long emails. In other words, I can work as if I were at my desk. Obviously due to absence of a disk drive I have not uploaded any software yet but I can buy an external drive anytime to do that. So far I am doing just fine.
Strongly recommended to anyone in my circumstances.

By joluray according the specifications of the AMD chip, and the 2Mb memory DDR3, my expectation was a faster netbook, but is not better than the my wife's Acer netbook, with a Intel 425 and 1Mb of memory DDR2. the battery life is worst either, only 3 hours against 6 hours of my wife's netbook.
