alternate use--for my Kindle in its leather cover Jan 07, 2010
By a viewer I recently ordered this little zippered neoprene netbook case for under $8 including shipping, after an unsuccessful search for a case to offer additional protection to my Kindle in its M-edge GO leather cover, for traveling.
Although this case is a little too large for the Kindle and cover, it's not so large as to be unuseable, and it will offer an additional layer of protection. The leather cover offers some firm protection for the Kindle, but I wanted additional cushioning for when the Kindle is in my tote bag while traveling and possibly getting bumped about.
This case has a compact, attractive look and the colors pop. My Acer Aspire One 8.9" netbook with the 6-cell battery is a little too large for the case, but I didn't order it for the netbook. The netbooks with a smaller battery might fit fine in it.
Very nice case for the price. Deducted 1 star because the case isn't quite large enough for all 8.9 inch netbooks, for which it's advertised.
Fits Kindle2 with a Cover May 31, 2010
By Loves Books I bought this sleeve to protect my Kindle2 when stored in the house. I keep the Kindle in a M-Edge Trip Kindle Jacket (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle), Black w/Tan all the time and some of the cases made specifically for the Kindle aren't large enough for it to fit into it unless it's totally nekkid. The M-Edge is a nice cover for reading, but the only edge/side covered is the spine, so I wanted something to protect the Kindle when not in use.
My M-Edge cover is black, so I chose the Cabernet/Jet color to both coordinate, and to provide some bolder color to make the Kindle stand out - mkaing it easy to find and a little less likely to have something inadvertently put on top of it - or sat on. The sleeve IS a little big for the Kindle, even with the cover on, but that and the zipper extending slightly along each side makes for easy removal. The sleeve is made of neoprene, so there isn't a lot of padding, but between that and the cover on the Kindle, I think it offers a great inexpensive solution for protective household storage - kind of a housedress for my Kindle :) I have another case specifically made for the Kindle - CaseCrown Double Memory Foam Pouch Case With A Front Pocket For Kindle 2 / Kindle International that I use for travel that has offers more padding protection. (Alas, I can't get the Kindle, the M-Edge Trip cover AND this sleeve into the CaseCrown all at the same time.)
So if you're looking for something that would provide a little additional protection without removing your cover from your Kindle whenever it's stored inside, I recommend this sleeve.

By El Nice product but very tight fit for Acer 8.9" netbook. That makes it a struggle to use and therefore defeats the purpose.
