Looks & feels like a proper laptop bag Sep 17, 2010
By ReDVsion I had a hard time looking for a netbook case. I wanted something portable, with a shoulder strap, and well-padded. Unfortunately most of the bags and sleeves for netbooks I came across were more stylish than functional (insufficient padding, lacking a shoulder strap, crazy color schemes, purse-like appearance, etcetera). This actually seems like a regular laptop bag, just shrunk down a bit.
It's very high-quality, with lots of nice touches like the sturdy metal clamps for the (padded) shoulder strap, a comfortable carry handle that lays flat against the bag when not being used, and big, silicone-wrapped zippers. The accessory pouch on the outside is definitely small - just enough to fit the netbook charger and a set of headphones, but that's it. On the other side is a thin pocket for miscellaneous papers, with a bit of velcro inside to keep it closed. The inner padding seems fairly substantial, and my Asus 1005PR netbook has about a centimeter of vertical/horizontal wiggle room, so it should accommodate even the largest 10 inch netbook.
An interesting feature is the foam rubber pads inside the main flap to set your netbook on, the idea being that you can use it while keeping it within the case. Nice if you have absolutely nowhere else to set your bag, but mostly useless, especially when you consider that it won't work if you keep anything in the outer accessory pouch (the back of the bag won't stand up properly) and doesn't offer any additional protection. It might have been a better idea if they'd designed the bag with the accessory pouch on the opposite side.
Still, it's a slick-looking bag, and feels like it will outlast the netbook that goes in it.

By Don The item works very well for just a netbook. The front pocket needs to be a little larger, so you can carry your chargers and mouse. Overall I like it, just need to be a little larger.
