Parent of a Little Princess Aug 29, 2010 Very cute, easy to use, great for kids, and awesome security features, so that the little ones aren't going where they shouldn't on the web.
Disney Netpal Aug 04, 2010 Once you get it working, it is a nice product. Documentation is woefully incomplete and support from ASUS is virtually non- existent or wrong. Mine failed to boot upon initial start-up. After numerous unsuccessful tries with function keys, a sequence of F2 followed by F9 produced access to resident XP installation files. Executing a reinstall from there finally got the computer operating.
spillproof keyboard good, parental controls not so much Apr 25, 2010 i bought one for my 8 year old son and considering one for 6 year old daughter. Asus support does not have my recommendation though. Disney email in parental controls is not addressed in user manual and cannot figure out how to get it set up through my ISP (calls to ISP and Asus were not helpful at all!) so that part is not what I was looking for. If I can't get it set up to work properly with the parental controls I'm keeping it and just running without, the spill proof keyboard was worth the extra $20. The screensize is good for watching movies using external plugins.

Great for 6-year-old son Mar 18, 2010 This is a cool little netbook for a young kid. My son loves it and I have to make him put it down. I give it a high rating with the exception of the parental controls. Sinces its Windows XP and IE 7 the controls are limited so I am using a trial version of NetNanny.
Other than that I would highly recommend the product but parents need to be a little computer savvy to setup.
