Fits great on my 900 Sep 28, 2010
By Kharn Instructions in another review of this product were perfect, I had my Eee (EEEEPC900-BK072 according to the sticker on the bottom) up and running again in less than five minutes once I found my jeweler's screw drivers.
Excellent replacement for original part Jul 02, 2011

My Asus EEE 900 is my "travel" computer. I'm in the military and have used it on many trips, and it's even survived extensive use in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I thought it was broken for good when the keyboard stopped working. I have found with other broken laptops that it is usually impossible to get replacement parts unless it is not very old due to the rate and sheer number that new laptops are produced.
I was pleasantly surprised when I found the replacement keyboard on Amazon and that it was an exact replacement. I was worried after ordering because I was not given a choice when ordering for white or black as a color, and hoped that this one was black as shown in the picture. It was, and it came a day early, so I received this in less than 36 hours after ordering with Prime.
I followed the instructions in the other review and it could not be easier to replace the keyboard. It takes a small flat heat screwdriver or pair of tweezers and it really is very simple. Just press in on the three taps above the top row of keys, slide the brown tabs up toward the display on the side of the ribbon connector, remove, and place the new keyboard in. This is literally a 2 minute operation.
I am very pleased. The Asus EEE continues to show what a tremendous value it is. Nearly four years old, and all I have had to change is the power pack (found on Amazon!) and keyboard. So I've still got less than $400 invested in this laptop. It has been more than worth the money.

The description for this Keyboard says that it is for the Asus Eee PC 900 Series (black).
I can confirm that it does NOT fit the Asus Eee PC 900HA. This keyboard is about 1/4" SMALLER than the OEM keyboard.
