MSI U100-018US Mar 02, 2010 This is a great little netbook. It's quick for a netbook as well. I did not purchase it for this Marketplace robbery price either!!
Pros:
15 second start/boot up time
160 GB HDD
Wireless N/G range is good as well...
Cons:
Battery life is a joke 1 1/2 hours w/ wireless on...
Grab a 9 cell battery...

A good item Oct 02, 2009 This was our first purchase of a netbook, so I can only compare it to our laptop.
The advantage is the light weight, and portability. We found it easy to use and the screen is bright, speakers are more than adequate and it seems like sturdy construction. It works flawlessly, which is unusual in my experience with computers.
The only coplaints are two. Even though it is wireless-N..it seems to have less range than our Wireless-G laptop, even with a premium wireless N dual band router. I tried moving the router with no improvement, so I set up a second old router just for the netbook in the room we use it the most. With our 2 year old Lenovo Thinkpad, we can walk through the house with no problem so it is definitely inferior to the laptop in this regard. Also, it is quite a bit slower than the Lenovo laptop (which has Vista), but I suppose that is the nature of netbooks. While it was slow to load a hulu page, it actually rendered the TV video quite well, which was a surprise to me since I didn't expect it to be able to do this.
