Worth Every Penny Feb 28, 2009
By moondogie66 the only criticism is that it lasts only 8 plus hours ,However, I use mine on GSM as well, as all the duties you give to any computer. This is worth every penny.I also like the fact that because of fact that is slightly large then the 6 Cell, it sits at a slight angle so it is even more comfortable to use the keyboard.

Hooray For extra battery life. Sep 11, 2009
By S. Cutting Just received this product, and must say so far I am very pleased with the performance. Actual Battery life is 6hrs 30min to 8hrs 45min (using conservative battery settings), and I must say that is more than enough for the many rigors i put my laptop through. Great for students, and others that will be away from plug-in sources for extended periods of time. If you have a Wind U-100 this should be one of the first accessories you purchase. you will not regret it. Also, a bonus was the shipping time. I ordered using only basic shipping and it arrived less than 48hrs later which is a rare occurrence in my online purchases.

Defintely adds extra battery life.... Dec 04, 2010

...be prepared for slightly more bulk and weight also.
After following the break-in instructions for this battery (summary: fully charge with the netbook powered off, then fully discharge with the netbook powered on...repeat three times), the battery life indicator with a full charge indicates over 9 hours.
This is far longer than I would ever sit at a netbook (or any other computer!), and real-world conditions and computing tasks will obviously influence true battery life.
Bottom line is that this battery essentially doubles the life of MSI's OEM battery.
Be aware that the additional life comes with some additional weight and a slightly higher profile, raising the rear of the MSI Wind slightly (see pictures I submitted for this product).
