Durable and reliable laptop.... Should have been dead.. haha Mar 28, 2010 Let me start off by stating that this laptop is my wifes. I bought it for her a year ago and she loves it. My 1 year old daughter has beaten, dropped, jumped on, and every thing else you can think of. It is still going strong. She uses it for school and loves it. Well it is not the fastest one out there but wow.
It was returned once because my daughter pulled the power cord out in different directions so it would not charge anymore. The return was quick and 2 way ups was paid for by msi. They cleaned it up and made it look new again upon return. My wife was pissed at first because she thought it was a new laptop. Great service. Highly reccommend to anyone.
Great While Travelling Jan 31, 2010 Small, compact and fast. We were looking for something for checking e-mail and cruising the web while vacationing and this is perfect.
Great for Travel Jan 08, 2010 I've used this little gem for about 10 months now, and I love it! I travel a lot and used to carry a full-size laptop--this really lightens the load. I have never had a problem with it; it was incredibly easy to set up VPN for work use on the go. Web pages display perfectly on the screen and there is plenty of HD space. the keyboard is nicely sized for such a small package, but does take a little time to get used to. I use it with mobile broadband, and the wireless in the unit has never let me down. The battery life is pretty short, but I never use it without the power cord, so that isn't an issue for me. All in all, for this price, it doesn't get any better than this!
Great for Web Surfing Dec 21, 2009 This is a great little computer. The 10" screen is perfect, not too small and yet isn't as heavy or big as a laptop. I don't know much about computers so I was worried at first I'll have trouble connecting to WIFI or loading software. (You'll need to buy an external CD drive to load software but they run less than $40). But computer booted up fine, WIFI conected first try. I've had the computer for 1 year now, never had a problem. Battery is sufficient last over 3 hours one year later. Great for web surfing, checking e-mails and wordprocessing. No complaints.
Great product Nov 29, 2009 I keep the wind plugged in (the battery does suck) on my reading table and use it to casually surf the internet, check email and occasionally do a bit of work. I took the advice of another review and removed ms office suite and use open office for my word processor, but rarely have need for it anyway. For my purposes it's perfect. The keyboard is easy to type on, the screen size is small but fine. Don't expect anything out of the speakers; just use ear buds. I would not only recommended this product to a friend but wouldn't hesitate for a moment to buy another one tomorrow for myself if mine was lost or broken.
I hope this helps a someone sitting on the fence.
