Amazing except for 1 important thing is wrong Jan 06, 2009
By B. Hoffman Hi,
I bought this case for my MSI Wind 10" netbook in Dec 2008. It is perfect in every single way and is the best case out there except for 1 major thing in which I called the compnay about and maybe they will fix in a future edition...
Why great... -material -straps to hold -side pocket for accesserries* -just enough space inside -price -color and style
*Here is the 1 major set back. Netbooks are so small they do not come with CD/DVD drives. Many owners wil buy the smallest and thinest optional external drive for movies, plane rides, etc (I have an LG). The side pocket on this case is put just about 1.5" too low that you cannot fit your external drive in this side pocket. They forgot to think that people will not just bring a mouse, or cords, but an external drive and there is no way it fits in the side.
If this zipper was just brought higher up, this would be the best bag on earth.
Hope this helps.

Excellent quality sleeve... Feb 23, 2009

Well padded and looks sturdy (the zipper won't break or come loose within the first couple of months). The wrist strap is quite convenient 'cause it protects the whole thing from falling if it slips off your hand while scurrying between meetings. The front pouch is another convenient feature to slip documents, CD's, pen drives or the like for safe, easy-to-reach storage.
Although this is a very nice sleeve, keep in mind that it is not a case; it is intended to protect your equipment while you're handling it from office to office or whatever, but it is not intended to replace a dedicated case. This one's comfortably sized for netbooks like the Acer Aspire One, perfect and snug for some ultraportable notebooks and too small for the smaller tablet PC's.

Snug fit Jan 09, 2009
By The Goat I bought this for the Acer Aspire One 6-cell, and it's a perfect fit. The case is snug but not too tight. The front pocket will fit your power cords, but you're probably better off storing those somewhere else. You have enough room for some CDs and other materials in there.
This is a good slip case for protecting your laptop inside a larger case. I wouldn't recommend it as a standalone case.

Very nice gift for my Sammy! Feb 08, 2009
By Eduardo Nietzsche Another happy new owner of the Samsung NC10 netbook. The only half-significant gripe I have about this very nifty little "ultra-portable" is the more or less useless leather "case"---well, "envelope" would be a more accurate description---it came with: way too flimsy to do anything except protect against scratches.
So I figured that a more substantial sleeve would be a good investment, and chose this one in part because the Case Logic sleeve that Amazon carries was sold out at the time, and also because that CL sleeve has two rigid carrying handles which I would never use since I intend to carry my netbook in a normal backpack (a computer case is an invitation to get mugged, IMO) and they'd only take up more space.
This Mobile Edge case turned out to be quite nice. It's fairly attractive; I am not crazy about the gray inverted trapezoidal logo on the back side, but that's a minor quibble. It's sturdy---well, at least so far, not sure how much abuse this 1/4-1/8" thick neoprene can handle but will update this review if anything happens to it down the line---with good quality zippers, esp. appreciate the nylon zipper handles and having double zippers on the main compartment. That said, I would never claim that this sleeve is built like a tank...that's why it's a sleeve not a "case" I suppose.
And it's more functional than I expected: I was skeptical at first, but happily found that the outer accessories pocket does fit both my AC adapter (had to use the velcro wire binder strip to keep the wires under control) and corded mini-mouse...these things give it a bulgy sort of appearance but oh well, that's what you get with a softsided design. The neoprene does seem to expand quite a bit more than I expected, hopefully this elasticity does not come at the cost of durability, I'll find out in a few months probably...would've preferred to have some sort of ballistic nylon on the outside or at least reinforcing the corners. The main compartment has about an extra 3/4 to 1" extra space around my NC10, enough to keep it from joshing around too much, but hardly enough to cram any more accessories in there, other than something flat and thin like maybe a few CD/DVDs.
Oh and lastly there is a single nylon carrying strap on one end of this bag. I'm guessing its intended function is to make it easier for one to pull this sleeve out of a bag, rather than to dangle the entire weight of the bag from---I probably wouldn't recommend doing the latter.

durable and functional Feb 15, 2009
By tiny_goddess I bought this for the 6-cell Acer Aspire One and the fit is perfect. The case is quite sturdy and, though I've not dropped it, seems cushy enough to protect the netbook in a short fall. The storage pocket is great for memory sticks and the case seems to keep itself clean no matter the environment.
