My daughter was angry at me or the dog:-) and slammed my beautiful 3 month old Macbook shut. Needless to say the LCD screen had a crack and I couldn't see half of my screen. I first went to Apple and got some outrageous quote on repair. So I found a repair guy, easily found and ordered this screen at Amazon, and presto! It was fixed.
The screen was delivered to my home in about two days (super saver shipping) in an Amazon box with lots of protective bubble wrap (which that same kid loved:-).
While I typically buy books, gadgets, etc. from Amazon, I was impressed with the speed and care in handling of this sensitive item.

Good replacement Apr 14, 2010
By L. Smith My screen on my almost 4 year old macbook recently cracked. My Macbook is a 2006 white model, so it is an older variety. They must be making different shaped screens for the newer models so before you order MAKE SURE you're ordering the right one. I had to order this from for different sellers before I got the correct sized one. Considering the genius bar at my local mac store wanted $900.00 to fix this, I consider this a GREAT bargain for only about $85.00.
The screen itself is quite amazing. I was expecting the screen to be "dull" based on other reviews on amazon but this new screen seems to be almost exactly like my old screen. I calibrated the display and everything seems great!
Installation was kind of time consuming. There are great guides on the internet. NOTE: Make SURE you save the screws and remember where EACH individual screw goes. It seems many of the screws are unique, FYI. The screws in the webcam WON"T fit in the metal chassis holes or vice versa, so be meticulous and you could save yourself some serious cash!

Perfect replacement for MacBook Jun 21, 2011
By Beans Baxter It was difficult to determine which replacement LCD to buy but I found a webpage that explained how to determine what model LCD is currently installed. In a terminal window run the following command:
ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayEDID | sed "/[^<]*
It will return something like this:
LP133WX1-TLA1
Color LCD
If it does, then this screen is an exact replacement. I installed mine last night and it is working great.

Good screen, too blue Sep 07, 2010
By David M. Warren In summary, the screen works, but it doesn't match the warm color temperature of the OEM screen.
Installation was relatively easy, just use ifixit's guide to taking the macbook apart. Be sure to remember where every screw came from, or else you'll hate putting it back together. The backlight power connector is quite a bit larger than than Apple's stock, I had to wedge some of the slack behind the screen to get it to fit into the inverter assembly, but it wasn't that big of a deal.
My biggest complaint is that the screen tint is blue, most likely due to the color temperature of the backlight, and there's not an easy way to fix it. My wife and I have the exact same computer, and you can definitely see a difference when placed right next to one another. The screen looks more vivid at times than the original, but the shade of blue is always present.
EDIT:
Just discovered that you can calibrate your monitor by going to:
Display preferences -> Color -> Calibrate button, then select the color temperature you want
Doing this made the monitor just like new, and works great.

LCD replacement screen for a White 13" 2006 MacBook Apr 19, 2011
By mango Sweet order arrived in two days extremely well packed. The LCD Screen was manufactured by LG Phillps just as the original screen in my 2006 white Macbook A1181. I followed Youtube videos to install, and it was very simple. I must admit my clutch cover is cracked which made connecting the inverter cable a bit easier. I would also highly suggest taping the screws you remove and keeping notes and or diagrams as there are many different sizes and I did not follow my own advise and dropped them on the floor! Ordering through Amazon also gave me a feeling of confidence in the seller as their price and shipping were lower than any other company out there. Best of luck and many thanks to MLC Distribution!
