Amazing little drive Feb 24, 2010

I got the pink version for my wife. Since it came from the same company that made her netbook (Acer EEE PC), it worked perfectly as soon as it was plugged in. There are two USB cables, one each for power and data transfer. The unit is slim, fast, and exactly matches my wife's computer.
The price and shipping costs are very good as well. I would recommend this product and seller to anyone in the market for an external CDRW/DVDRW.

Not sure it works Feb 12, 2010
By Tommy Or Tammy Williams I purchased this for my daughter's mini Dell laptop. when I tried to get it to work, It said that I needed to purchase something else for 14.95 to make it work. In your description of the product, nowhere did I see that I would have to purchase more software to make it work. I think you need to disclose this in your information about this product.

By vap Got this to go with my daughters netbook for Christmas. The external dvd/cd player was the perfect companion to make her netbook everything we wanted for her. She now has the small Gateway laptop (netbook) plus the ability to watch dvd's or play a favorite cd. The external dvd player fits perfectly inside her carrying case. It came with everything she needed to plug & play. We highly recommend this great external device. It was exactly what we needed to complete out netbook experience!
