Useless in Macbook Pro Nov 14, 2009

I bought this RAM to upgrade my mid '09 MacBook Pro. I might as well have just removed the old memory and stuck a piece of bread in the computer instead. Anyway stay away prom this memory is you have a mac.

Mac Mini 2009 Snow Leopard - NO WORKY! Oct 21, 2009
By NowAMac I bought this to upgrade my 2009 Mac Mini. Beware, this does not work with Snow Leopard, it causes a Kernal Panic and will render your mini useless in a matter of days. After trouble shooting with a Apple Expert they were about to send me a new hard drive thinking that was the problem. When I told him I upgraded with this RAM he asked me to uninstall it and magically my system was back to normal. Looking on the PNY site (unfortunately after all this) I found that they had no RAM listed as compatible with the Mac mini and their support page says that they may not be compatible with OS X 10.4 or greater.

Quality meet affordibility May 03, 2011
By Cold Bought this memory to upgrade the standard memory in my Acer Aspire One 721 Netbook. Windows seems to boot faster now and working on more then 1 application seems a bit more smooth. My laptop is a single core so I didnt expect a HUGE increase in performance but it was a bit faster so I got what I expected.
As for some of the negative reviews I think it goes without saying KNOW WHAT YOUR BUYING before you buy and save yourself and the people processing the order some time and frustration and everyone goes home happy.
As for packaging I felt that the box it was shipped in could have been a little bit better but both the box and the memory arrived intact and working just fine. As it was the box was just a piece of cardboard folded around it and taped in place. One memory module fell out of its mount inside the PNY bubble packaging but wether that was the fault of the packager, the design of the plastic or of the item being dropped Ill never know. In any case its kind of insignificant as it arrived in working order.
Amazon made this order quick and painless and Im already looking forward to my next order.

By Percy Works great in ASUS Eee Pc Netbook! I had no issues removing the old 1 gb stick of ram and putting the new 2 gb stick in. The netbook runs much faster now.

Does not work with 2009 Mac Mini Oct 27, 2009
By Christine Rasmussen Like the other reviewer, I purchased this for a 2009 Mac Mini. worked great for a while, then started crashing. I restart the computer every 45 minutes now with kernel panic. I ran the Mac hardware test and it found a HW error in the memory after 23 seconds of testing.
