Nice external drive Nov 30, 2008
By T. Herrmann I got this drive to go with an ASUS EEE 1000H since the sub-notebook does not have an internal drive. It works great. The first thing I did was use this drive to install Ubuntu Linux and create a dual-boot system. It worked flawlessly. I've only had it a week, so I don't know about long-term durability, but so far I'm pleased.

The Samsung 20X DVD burner is top of the line. It's sleek, simple to use and reliable. Also the seller GL Bargain is awesome! I had a problem when I first bought it - but they got right back to me and helped me solve the problem immediately. They worked with and gave me all the information I needed to understand what I needed to do and they are very reliable to use as a vendor. I recommend them highly! I also like that it has lightscribe technology which helps you create images on to your discs. www.buypcdirect.com has great service and I got my drive when they said I would.I highly recommend this drive and their service
