Failed in less than 2 months Jul 29, 2010 "Card can not be read" after about 800 photos. I formatted it in the camera. Did not do anything damage it. It just stopped working. Hoping to get a replacement and that this was a fluke.
New SDHC, "old" camrea Jul 28, 2010 I have put the SanDisk 16 Gb Extreme Class 10 in my FZ50 Lumix (prosumer) and my FS3 Lumix (point-and-shoot), and had no problems so far. Seems to read it just fine, though the standard is newer than the cameras. Unable to "time" it, still it does feel a bit faster than the older Extreme IIIs (Class 6) I use normally. I can't see any difference in the photos, but the FS3 seems to reset itself for the next picture a little faster. May just be perception, but picture lag is important to me. Though the Extreme series cards remain a bit pricey, I've had no complaint about them, sun, snow, high humidity, heat, cold (Wyoming), or whatever. So far, a very high quality and reliable card.
Extreme SanDisk Jul 18, 2010 I'm using this SDHC Card with the Panasonic Lumix GH1 to save 1080P video and it is great. If you need performance out of a card, this is the one for you.

Lets SLR Camera perform at its best Jul 13, 2010 I purchased this disk along with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD (Body Only) about two weeks ago. I was very happy with the performance of the camera. I shot a swim meet and some other sports activities and got some great shots, especially on continuous burst. The next day I inadvertently left the Class 10 card at home, and had to substitute a Class 6 card.
The difference in the performance of the camera was remarkable. The camera took longer to start up, the speed of taking photos on continuous burst was much slower, and after about 10 frames the camera slowed to a crawl. As a result, I ordered another Sandisk Extreme Class 10 card as a backup.

Excellent Card Jul 04, 2010 Of course these high end SanDisk cards are excellent. I would just caution shoppers that they can get an extremely well built, and quite quick SanDisk class 4 card for half the price. On my Leica M9 the speed difference is not very apparent. These high end cards are certainly future proof but the way these things improve and get less expensive every year you might as well save your money.
My assumption is that these really fast cards are made for videographers. If you're clicking off 24 or more frames every second you may well have tons of cards to download at the end of the day.
