Works with Polar HR Monitor & Windows 7 64 bit Mar 26, 2010
By Michael Kramer

I installed this device on my new Windows 7 64 bit machine. The driver installed automatically. I was able to communicate with my Polar S725X HR monitor transfer data easily. This saved about $50 compared to the Polar IRDA usb dongle. Very pleased.

Great Product Feb 17, 2010
By Eric Stevens I bought this IrDa adapter to communicate with my ScubaPro UWATEC Aladin Prime dive computer. It works great and costs much less than the one that ScubaPro sells. Works great on my Windows 7 laptop and my Vista desktop computer. If you are looking for an adapter that works with the Aladin Prime this is the one to get.

It works to Hotsync Palm Tungsten E to Windows 7 64-bit Jul 25, 2010
By Guy Belleau This was the right solution for Hotsyncing my Palm Tungsten E to my new Windows 7 computer. As noted by others it showed up within days of ordering and worked by just plugging it in. Don't use the mini-disk for driver installation if you are using Windows 7.

If you need infrared and don't have it, buy this. Oct 25, 2010

First, let me tell you why I bought this. I know that PDAs are sort of a thing of the past. But, I still love my Palm Tungsten C and depend on many of its apps, especially PocketQuicken. But with Windows 7 and especially the 64 bit, you can no longer sync with the cradle and USB. Tungsten C does not have bluetooth. So, that leaves out syncing with bluetooth, another option for some palm users. The last option is syncing with IR.
I had the choice of buying this little item or buying a new, expensive pocket pc and all new apps. Moreover, the Pocket PC does not have some of the most important apps I use. The only logical answer was to buy this.
Now, how does it work? Great! All I did was plug it in and started my sync. Yes, the first sync took over an hour. Subsequent syncs don't take that long. And the syncs are perfect. I didn't even use the enclosed drivers.
This little guy is small and doesn't require lots of room like many flash drives and it works perfect. If you need infrared on your computer and don't have it, I highly recommend you buy this. It works super with Windows 7, 64 bit.

Works Great! Feb 05, 2010
By S. Meyer After updating my laptop to a 64 bit Windows 7 unit, I found out that that old Palm Z22 would not synch via a cable. Palm was no help nor was MS. Did some checking online and came up with this gem of a device. It works great. No need to buy other more expensive ones on Amazon or elsewhere. Did not even have to mess with drivers. Windows 7 found it automatically. Be warned that synching via wireless USB is about 3-5 times slower than using the cable, but that is your only option if you are using a Palm Z22 as Palm said they did not have a software fix.
