Poor Product Sep 03, 2010 This is an extremely poor product. There was no .exe file included with the enclosed disk. I am running Vista 64-bit and even their website did not contain the appropriate .exe file. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !!!! And thanx for providing a customer service number to call....NOT !
Excellent Aug 27, 2010 This is an infrared adapter that beats the Polar Irda I've had for years. Never fails. Easy to install and operate. All at 1/5 of the price of the Polar adapter.

Works great with Polar 625x and Vista Aug 07, 2010 I had simultaneously upgraded from a Polar 610 to 625 and Windows XP to Vista a couple years ago. (Dropped the 610 face down and cracked it and the XP machine crashed on its own.) Spent a couple summers deployed so no serious racing or training in the interim. Ramping up for an IM distance race and decided I probably ought to pay a little more attention to training zones and whatnot. After some serious research online it seemed that success rate connecting Polar 625/725 to Windows Vista with IrDA was around the 50-60% range. Took a shot at this IrDA dongle (much cheaper than Polar's at $50+) and couldn't be happier. Have installed Polar Pro Trainer 5 on two different Vista machines, one 32-bit desktop and a 64-bit laptop with no issues. Both machines immediately recognized this dongle and in over a month I haven't had any issues downloading workout data from my wrist unit to PPT5. If you're frustrated by having a $$$ watch that you can't pull data from I highly recommend you give this piece of gear a shot.
GREAT product!! Aug 07, 2010 Neither of my computers have a built-in IrDA and I needed one in order to download dives from my Uwatec dive computer. This little guy did the trick perfectly and FAST. I simply plugged it into a USB port and BAM, it downloaded the proper drivers and was ready to go in just a couple of minutes (Vista OS). I didn't even need to use the disk that came with it. It recognized my dive computer immediately. Considering Scubapro wants something like $50 for an IrDA, this little guy is an absolute steal at $12. Suffice it to say that I am VERY pleased with this purchase.

It works to Hotsync Palm Tungsten E to Windows 7 64-bit Jul 25, 2010 This was the right solution for Hotsyncing my Palm Tungsten E to my new Windows 7 computer. As noted by others it showed up within days of ordering and worked by just plugging it in. Don't use the mini-disk for driver installation if you are using Windows 7.
